During the creation of the studio there have been periods of emotional highs and lows. The best way to deal with these emotions is by allowing them to speak through a creative process. “Life is Special” was born during one of those moments. It celebrates and recognising beauty, at the core however this piece is rooted in the power of the collective working on the positive. “I hope that we will make it so” if we truly value each other and respect the divine blessings given then we can do magnificent things.

Through the power of RasTafari I’ve been able to find strength in dark moments. The tune was actually recorded on my birthday. I though I would bring together some breddrins to the studio because it had been recently completed. L.A. Allen on bass, Nessan on drums, Isax on saxophone, Ifield and Peter Holung on guitar and piano.

There visits have produced fruitful recording sessions. To remember those podium moments in the midst of perceived challenge keeps us out of the sand box and feeling good about the journey.
